Jelly Ring
Ring-shaped jelly that pulses outward as a defensive ring of sting cells.

About Jelly Ring
CautionOpen water
Jelly Rings pulse outward in slow, rhythmic rings that sting on contact. The danger looks worse than it is — the sting is short-lived, but each pulse forces a route choice and chains of pulses can corner an unfamiliar player against terrain. Track the rhythm and pass through during the rest phase between pulses. Their body contains useful fibrous material, harvestable cleanly between pulses with a little patience. They are a good early lesson in reading creature timing rather than relying on raw damage avoidance, so treat the first encounter as practice for harder fights later.
How to handle an encounter
- · Approach only with a plan. The species reacts to crowding or contact.
- · Scan from outside its threat radius before considering a closer pass.
- · Move on once you have the data; do not linger near the spawn.
