What Early Access means

Subnautica 2 launches as a work-in-progress. Unknown Worlds explicitly say content evolves during Early Access — biomes, creatures, craftables, features and narrative will continue to land. The launch price is $29.99 USD; regional prices follow each storefront. Early Access is expected to run two to three years before a 1.0 release.

For this tracker, that means Day-0 ships with confidence-labeled pre-launch markers and a static showcase. Phase-1.5 — within 24 to 72 hours after unlock — adds the live Leaflet canvas, URL filter state-sync, and verified-in-game markers as captures are reviewed. Submission opens once an audited review queue is live; pre-release leaks are never eligible for verified status.
