Nibbler Mango
Smaller cousin of the Needler that swarms instead of sniping.

About Nibbler Mango
AggressiveReefs and shallow caves
Nibbler Mangos are smaller and more numerous than the Needler variant. They commit to swarms and rely on raw bite count rather than ranged attacks, which means tight spaces are far more dangerous than open water. The fight itself is short — three or four hits per nibbler — but a swarm of eight or ten can drain oxygen before you finish. Disengage by climbing vertically; nibblers track horizontally well but lose lock during a fast ascent. They are a good early lesson in reading a swarm and trading distance for time before the fight commits.
How to handle an encounter
- · Disengage on first contact. Distance beats damage trade against this species.
- · Break line of sight. Most aggressive species lose lock within a minute.
- · Engage only with a clear oxygen budget and a planned exit.
